Hi everyone!

I just wanted to give you a quick update on our project so far. We are doing really well, with so many stretch goals being UNLOCKED. Also take a look at the Ace of Spades Art Print.

STATUS UPDATE

  • We are currently at $50,456 funding
  • 536 backers
  • 17 days left (Almost halfway through!)
  • Goal #4 - 350% FUNDED ($42,000) -  [UNLOCKED] - Soft-Touch card stock for tuck boxes
  • Goal #5 - 400% FUNDED ($48,000) -  [UNLOCKED] - 8 x 10 inch Ace of Spades Art Print (Check below for the mock-up)

Hi everyone!

We are having a great first week. We are funded and growing, which is better for the overall project. By gaining some more funding allows for a better rewards in the end with more bells and whistles. FAQ

Just thought I would answer some of your most common question:

Is there any chance we could see some foil cards in a stretch goal?

Answer: 

It still might be possible, but this time around I really wanted to stay away from foiling the cards. The last few projects, I wasn't completely happy with the court cards. They were fine and all, but just wanted them to be more clean, crisp and predictable. I felt like the foil process makes it hard for me to fully predict how the design looks in the end. 

My favorite work that I have seen from my projects was the back design from Luminosity's Standard deck (the grey one). The two metallics I used were really nice and I have been wanting to recreate that look ever since. So, I'm hoping this will be the one :) Lastly, I just started to realize, my artwork really shouldn't need help with bling :) I really love what I do and spend alot of time creating the court cards and want those to shine. Foils can detract from that.

Ok...there you go! The first week in the books. We have quite a bit of time to go, but it will go really fast. Please continue to comment and message me your questions and desires for this project. I am glad to chat.
