Production Update

Hi everyone!
Production Update
Production for the cards has not started yet. I am still waiting to approve the hard proofs. Once I approve them, the printer will schedule the production and It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks from that point to the end of the production run. We are still on time to fulfill your rewards by the end of August.
Surveys
In the meantime, there are about 40 of you who have not finished your surveys. Remember, this is how I know where to send your wonderful rewards, so be sure to get your surveys in.
Credit Cards
At the end of this month, I will be charging credit cards for all of the backers who have added on additional items. Be sure the credit card you used for the BackerKit addons are up to date and will not cause you to lose out on your add-ons. For those who did not add to their rewards through BackerKit and have filled out your survey, you are all set to go.

BackerKit Surveys coming out today!

Hey everyone!
The Kickstarter funds are in the bank and the BackerKit Surveys will be coming to you shortly. You should be getting your surveys today or tomorrow sometime.
For the 25 backers that were dropped from the project, no worries, you will still have the chance to recover your pledges. That is the beauty of using BackerKit after Kickstarter.
BackerKit Surveys/Add-ons
This is where you are able to officially add to your pledges and fill in your shipping address. Many have wondered about their add-ons and how you will be able to be sure to get them. No fear! BackerKit is here.
In order to start production and to ship your Rewards, a few things need to happen.
First, Kickstarter has transfer over the funds so I can get your rewards made.
Second I have to find out where I need to ship the pledges. I will be sending the BackerKit surveys out to collect this information in the day or so. It is important that when you receive the survey, you get it back to me as quickly as you can.
You do not need to make a login and password to fill out your survey, just fill it out and you’re all good to go! If you want to go back to review your info, just click on the link in your email again or input your email into our project page for another survey link.
If you prefer, you can just message me your info, but I STRONGLY SUGGEST using BackerKit as you will have the opportunity to add ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS on to your current pledge and help me make the shipping process SEAMLESS! This will help out this project tremendously, and help me get your rewards out to you quicker!
If you used Facebook to login to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email you prefer it to be sent to, please message us.
Errored and dropped pledges
It is common for a few backers' pledges to fail to collect at the project's deadline.
Any pledge that did not get fixed within the 7 days that Kickstarter allotted has been "dropped." If the Kickstarter process reveals any fraudulent activity, these pledges will also become "dropped".
No worries, you will get a chance to recover your Kickstarter pledge.

We Are Funded!
Hey all, we did it! The project finished yesterday and we are full steam ahead with progress.
So here we go! I am currently getting all of the files ready and should be getting everything sent to be produced in the next couple of weeks.

What's Next?
The BackerKit Surveys are coming in (less than) 14 days: I will be sending out an update when I deliver your surveys. Please fill out the surveys and get it back to me as soon as possible or else I can not send your rewards since I won't have your address. I will also send out instructions for fulling out your surveys.

Of course these are all estimates. I will be sending out regular updates in the next couple of months to keep you all up to date.
Failed payments
In the next 9 days Kickstarter will be processing your credit cards. Sometimes your card fails. This happens for all my projects. It's normal. Most of the time it is due to expired cards.
If your pledge is good, you will get a confirmation email. If not, Kickstarter will help you with an email saying that the pledge was not collected and should guide you through the process of fixing the issue.
You have one week to fix it. If Kickstarter does not collect the pledge during this time, it will drop you from the project.
No Worries Though...
BACKERKIT TO THE RESCUE! I am using BackerKit, which will allow you to recover your failed Kickstarer pledge. You will be able to fix your survey in a couple of weeks.
When you complete your survey, you will be able to:
Confirm the accuracy of what you pledged for
Add-on to your pledge (All prices are the same)
Enter your shipping address
Fix your payment if it did not work with Kickstarter

So, I don't normally plug other projects in my Kickstarter, but I wanted to say something about my good friend Chris Hage's new kickstarter and let you know about our upcoming collaboration project. Chris and I met during one of the 52 plus Joker Conventions a couple years back. I've come to realize that we think about playing cards very similarly and have some great complimentary skills.
I have been working up the illustrations on our new project, which will be launching later on this year. This will be a part of Chris' next Kickstarter series and I can't wait to show you what we have come up with. All right! We are about to finish up our 3rd week (already!). Time is flying by! A lot is in this update so be sure to read everything.

Back designs upgraded!
Back Design Upgraded!
When I originally designed the backs, they didn't have the 2 metallic look that I did for Obsidian and Topaz, I really liked how those turned out and wanted to do that for the Sapphire and Jasper decks. So I have upgraded the backs for all the decks to include a, not 2, but 3 metallic ink design. I think this will be sooooo much better than the original design. Below, I have included the Blue back design that will be for Sapphire and the Obsidian editions and the Red Back for the Jasper and Topaz Editions.

Eminence Metal Cards
You can now add-on the Eminence Metal Card to your pledge for $15 ($17 int'l) if you so desire. I originally thought to do a Dealer Coin, but thought that the metal card design was way better.
